My Story
Hi, I’m Christina the artist and heart behind Cre8ive Aura. Based in Melbourne, Victoria, I’ve always been drawn to creativity and storytelling through art. From a young age, I dreamed of becoming a professional photographer, and after studying Photography at university, I completed my degree in 2020 during the COVID-19 lockdown.
I ran my own photography business for a while, but deep down I felt something was missing. After travelling through Gippsland and eventually settling in Healesville, I discovered painting and I haven’t stopped creating since. What began as a creative escape during a time of uncertainty soon became a true passion. I started painting canvases and terracotta pots, and handcrafting beaded keyrings to share with family and friends.
Three years on, that small creative outlet has grown into Cre8ive Aura, a brand now stocked in five retail spaces as well as online. Art has become my way of bringing colour, warmth, and joy into everyday life, and every piece I create is made with love and intention. My hope is that each creation brings a little happiness into your world too.
You’ll often find Luna, my little sidekick and studio shadow, nearby while I paint. She especially loves “helping” by hiding my paintbrushes whenever she gets the chance!
